International
Tehran, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Paris — and growing.
Alongside the Jee Cultural and Artistic Institute and the group’s cultural, artistic and media operations in Tehran, Jee Group has gradually developed an international network across Europe, with activities centred on Barcelona, Frankfurt and Paris.
This international structure extends many of the group’s activities beyond Iran, including visual arts and exhibitions, publishing, photography, cultural production, artist collaborations, digital exhibitions, media projects and the presentation and sale of artworks. Rather than operating as separate initiatives, these activities form an extension of the cultural ecosystem that Jee has developed in Tehran since 2010.
Through exhibitions, international collaborations, residencies and cultural exchange projects, the group has created opportunities both for international artists to work and present their work in Iran and for Iranian artists to gain professional experience, visibility and access to cultural networks abroad. New technologies, virtual exhibitions and digital platforms have also become part of this international strategy, allowing projects to circulate beyond the limitations of physical venues.
In Europe, the group works through its legal and operational structures, including the joint-stock company Fafnir in Germany and Jee IT Group in Spain, while maintaining cultural activities and collaborations centred on Paris in France. These entities and networks support the development of Jee’s activities in international markets, particularly across Europe, while also creating pathways towards North American markets.
The group’s international operations encompass the different fields developed within its wider ecosystem in Tehran: contemporary art and gallery activities, publishing, film and audiovisual production, digital media, VOD, cultural research, artistic projects and technology-based forms of cultural distribution.
Alongside the registration and development of the Jee brand within the European Union, the group has continued to explore the intersection of culture, media and technology. One of the early outcomes of this approach was the launch of Persis TV, the first licensed Iranian internet television service established outside Iran.
Today, Jee Group’s international network is conceived not simply as an overseas presence, but as a continuing cultural bridge between Iran and Europe — connecting artists, audiences, institutions, technologies and cultural production across borders.
